A Google Trusted Photographer (also known as a Trusted Independent Photographer or TIP) is someone that has been trained and certified by Google to take Virtual Tours under the Street View | Trusted program.
Some TIPs are professional photographers with many years of photography experience, some have a background in Online Marketing or SEO and recognise the online benefits of Virtual Tours, and some are amateur photographers with a passion for taking panoramic photos.
It is possible to take and publish panospheres with a mobile phone, or panoramic camera, but only Google Trusted Photographers can use Googles Street View Editor and link a virtual tour with your Google Business Page.
